The Thrills and the escape of White Water Rafting in Uganda
White water rafting is high on many people on the list of the things in here Uganda. With some many good rapids and a stunning river with its high superlatives.
There are some very exciting sections to move a distance back and enjoy float along taking in the landscape and nature, especially the many birds found here.
Osprey from the clear Wings of crying, giant monitor lizards basking in the equatorial sun and flocks of cormorants, long-tailed herd schools of fish in the shallows.
The world's longest river roars, life as the White Nile minutes after slipping quietly from Lake Victoria. It thunders between heavily forested islands and then leaps wildly into a series of spectacular drops.
The roar of the rapids drift upstream with the gentle breeze. Wooden canoes laden with excited locals congregate committed in the calm waters to see our rafts in action.
To immerse the astonishment of the audience, we are in the maelstrom and ride the waves mountainous downstream. Our rafts through huge walls of whitewater and drift explode through the warm green pools (27 ° C) in the equatorial sun.
This is whitewater rafting at its best. The beauty of the Nile in Uganda is nothing short of spectacular and unknown to all but the lucky few, the pleasure stand on its banks had.

<strong> One River Rafting - 31 km </ strong>
"Stick to turn forward, left." I grab the rope, the size of the raft crosses and firmly grasp my paddle as the river drops away beneath us.
Seconds after I fill my lungs with a healthy sip of fresh air, is a huge wall of green water, towering over us. The raft explodes as the arch buckles in white water and spray droplets sparkling in the sun. Moments later, we under water.
Dressed lightly for a day in the sun, the slightly cooler waters are a welcome relief. A split second later appear ecstatic as the raft in the summit, a huge wave, a fact that the Nile is the roller coaster.
Another trough is imminent, and I breathe in enthusiastic whoop before preparing the next pouring.
Minutes later, the raft gently swaying in the calm pool below the legendary Big Brother fast, no one escaped the dunking and it's smiles all around and disbelief.
Some of us turn to the next upstream Raft race down the long green tongue of the rapid Clock and accelerated toward the first massive wave. In popular paddle rafts, each person does as a member a team and a professional leader of the team captains.
Paddlers will be fully briefed, as best on the water, and all aspects security, including the use of safety kayaks to enjoy accompany each raft trip on the water.
The well-trained Whitewater rafting safety kayakers are world class paddlers who sent their pilots tiny boats through the mountainous waves of any rapidly before the rafts.
If rafts turn upside down or people are on board, they provide close support to the people back to their boats washed. The ride on the water starts slowly and the first few miles pass the raft guides, the opportunity to have their crews fully on all aspects of the Nile River Rafting train.
The young river dances into action, as if anxious Bujagali Falls, the race for the thirsty desert downstream and a large quick quickly followed by one for the Most of the morning.
By the time the rafts float to Wakisi island, a healthy lunch and inviting waiting eager consumers.
There is nothing like a morning on the Nile for pulling off the appetite. Juicy pineapples, giant avocados, fresh peppers and tasty carrots are all organically grown in the surrounding villages.
Fresh bread, roasted ham, salami and juicy tomatoes all combine to satisfy the insatiable appetite wonderfully by a morning fresh air, white water and sunshine. After a leisurely lunch on the beautiful island Wakisi, the white water rafting Enter Wild Water Reserve, a private conservation Adrift initiative started to protect the unique flora and fauna of the mid-stream islands on the Nile.
