Monastir - The perfect beach vacation
Monastir is a city in northeastern Tunisia, right in the middle of the 1300 km of north African coast. About 40% of Tunisia is indeed made from the Sahara Desert, but this is far from the old fishing port of Monastir.

Market stalls sell everything from jewelry to work leather, and are a paradise for bargain hunters albeit with initial rates being highly inflated, but huge discounts can be negotiated with some haggling.
